The following is a short list of the criteria we use to select our staff and the requirements we set for them.

Selection system
The guards on duty must hold a security guard card, which is a prerequisite for:

  • A certificate of good character,
  • A certificate of good character, a diploma, the required professional qualifications or completion of a 300-hour specialised training course,
  • passing the official examination.

Steps for the selection of our staff:

  • Medical fitness,
  • Pre-screening by the personnel office,
  • a personal interview,
  • Information gathering (from previous workplace or other companies),
  • If necessary, an environmental assessment.


The requirements for a guardian of persons and property:
Our security guards and property guards have the qualifications required by Act CXXXIII of 2005. “Law on the rules of personal and property protection and private investigation”.

  • Exemplary, polite behaviour, communication,
  • decisive action,
  • vigilance, constant attention to everything,
  • ability to react quickly and effectively when the situation so requires,
  • present a well-groomed, cultivated appearance, with neat and tidy uniforms,
  • wear his/her photo badge in a clearly visible place on his/her uniform, – have the qualifications required by Act CXXXIII of 2005 on personal and property surveillance and other qualifications necessary for the performance of the service,
  • have an appearance and behaviour that would enable an uninformed visitor to identify them as a bodyguard,
  • treat all information in its possession as confidential, in accordance with the provisions of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Information Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.


Specific rules applicable to guards and property officers on duty

  • The standard terms of employment of Falkor Security Management Ltd. and the specific requirements of the client (cultivated appearance, firm demeanour, good communication skills, etc.) apply to all members of the guard service.
  • Members of the security service may be required to work immediate overtime in cases where this is urgently necessary in the interests of the service (damage repair, alarm, emergency security duties, etc.).
  • By the nature of the job, all security staff are expected to behave in an exemplary manner. This applies to behaviour in the workplace and to all situations in life where inappropriate or discourteous behaviour could have a detrimental effect on the client’s employees, customers, guests or tenants.
  • Absence from work due to illness or accident must be reported immediately to the area manager and/or dispatch center to ensure replacement.
  • Security staff members are required to ensure that their personal/business interests do not conflict with those of the client.
  • Each member of security staff shall sign a confidentiality undertaking to keep confidential any information obtained through his/her employment or obtained through his/her employment.
  • Security staff shall respect the rules on personal appearance. Their appearance shall be neat, well-groomed and their clothing tidy. In all cases, they shall present themselves and act in such a way that an uninformed visitor can identify them as members of the service.
  • The private wearing or personal use of uniforms or other security equipment is prohibited.
  • All members of the service must be familiar with and correctly apply the instructions issued (General, Specific) and sign them to confirm their knowledge. They are responsible for recording any changes, written or verbal instructions and for passing them on to the following services.
  • All members of the service must be proficient in the control and operation of the security, fire alarm and other technical equipment installed in the premises to which they are assigned.
  • During regular theoretical and practical training, the guards and property officers update their professional knowledge by analysing recent events and keeping abreast of changes in legislation, thus improving the professionalism of their actions.
  • No off-duty activities may be carried out at the duty stations, even if the duties of the duty station do not tie the officer down during his/her period of duty.


Our training system
We place great emphasis on the fact that members of the security service must at all times be familiar with and apply the internal regulations, fire and safety rules, rules and instructions of the client’s premises.

The training system is designed to ensure that security guards are familiar with them in order to perform their duties to a high standard:

  • The importance of harmonising individual and organisational objectives,
  • the need to ensure that the individual and the security officer
  • On special request, on occasion, the nature of human aggression and prejudice,
  • the rules of direct human communication, the rules of civilised intercourse, the elements of organisational communication.
  • The above knowledge will enable our staff to perform their duties in our places of employment in a correct relationship with the representatives, employees and customers of the client, in accordance with the written rules of the guarding service and the unwritten rules of human contact.
